It has been few months the company didn’t pay for the EPF. It is not that the company wants to skip it, but has no money to pay for it. How pitiful, such small amount of premium also the company could not afford to settle it.
If not because of this problem, we never know that the officer of EPF is so efficient, (or in another word, they are looking for funding too) they appoint an officer to our office and insisted want to talk to the boss about this matter and how we are going to solve it.
Actually, the department can always appoint the debt collection agent to do the work instead of sending their own staff for that. But, I believe boss will not bother who they are. He wills just trying his best to think of how to delay the payment and how to answer them question.
The company is very broke now, even worst than the crisis 10 years ago. But lucky that the company still affords to pay off the wages every month although there is always one or two days delay as compare to last time. Yes, it is always better than nothing, especially during such hard time.
