VAT is the short form of Value Added Tax. The government of Singapore has recently announced that increase the VAT from 5% to 7%. So, it would not be a good idea to shopping in Singapore, unless you get the tax refund for it.
In UK, the VAT is even more expensive, it was 17.5%. Most of the goods are sold with the VAT included, so to get the accurate how much the VAT is actually, here is the formula.
The price of the good x 14.89% = the VAT
For example,
The price of the good, £235, the VAT which be £235 x 14.89%= £35
If you are a visitor to UK and stay less than 6 months, you can get the VAT refund. But I have no idea where to get the refund, maybe in airport?
Oh, a friend is going to help me to buy a LV wallet. That’s why I m searching what is the VAT in UK.

Breakfast is very important, especially if you are on diet. You can skip the lunch, but no breakfast, if you want to lose weight.
